Birmingham property forecasting excellent price growth between 2018 into 2020, cumulatively adding up to 14% increase.

The Big City Plan is one of the driving forces behind this incredible growth. A major development plan set out over 20 years. The Big City Plan includes developments across key areas in the city and is set to increase the size of the city core by 25% improving transport connectivity and providing 50,000 new jobs. It’s this vision being realised that makes Birmingham such an attractive prospect for investors.

Covering several districts throughout the city, the Big Plan includes upcoming projects such as Paradise Arena, Central and HS2 as well as completed projects like redevelopment of New Street Station, Grand Central, Birmingham Library and more. With Birmingham already boasting the largest business, professional and financial services hub outside of London in the UK, there’s plenty for the second city to shout about.

Birmingham is being forecast a population growth of 12% by 2032.

Experts estimate that Birmingham will need to build 80,000 new homes over the next decade to meet this residential demand.

Professional opportunities have never been higher.

Chairman’s Thoughts – Click to expand

This is the place to invest your capital. Capital growth is assured“I think that most people within the UK don’t realise that in just a few short years despite the Global Financial Crisis, Brexit and what appears to be the total breakdown of the political field, the UK has gone from being a one world city (London) to three world cities (London, Manchester and Birmingham).

Direct flights and transport hubs as well as inward investment and a flight of capital from other countries have seen in particular Manchester and Birmingham rise to the status of world cities.

This bodes well for their future, with many universities they attract and hold talent due to the cost of living and lifestyle possible. Major companies like HSBC moving 1,000 jobs away from Canary Wharf and the city. Then there is HS2 and its massive boost to the economy.

In fact, it’s hard to say a bad word about them.

I’ve been saying for a while, and have recently pulled all our investment resources away from the towns and placed them squarely in the cities. The towns are not attracting the talent, the young or…well anyone really. This means that an ageing population is left behind in these markets where little new growth is happening and little chance on capital growth on your properties.

The cities such as Birmingham, are vibrant places being rebuilt with massive inward investment from all corners of the globe, major funders pile money into them. This is the place to invest your capital, ride on the shoulders of the big boys. Capital growth is assured.
